The Venus Project is requesting the volunteer assistance of the following individuals:
- data scientists and statisticians
- mathematicians
- analytics experts
- scientists of any field who have experience in designing and conducting experiments
- experts in data mining and knowledge discovery
- other professionals with expertise relevant to implementing data-driven decisions.
The interdisciplinary team efforts of the above individuals are to help develop and apply reliable methods for gathering and synthesizing data to inform the organization.
This Data-Driven Decisions team assists other teams of The Venus Project in defining useful metrics, designing and running experiments, gathering useful and reliable data through surveys and other means, and other such activities which help The Venus Project understand situations and arrive at decisions. We are especially interested in people with experience in applying reliable research methods in real-world social contexts.
