Joel Holt, with the help of Roxanne Meadows and Nate Dinwiddie’s archiving, created a video “Reflections on the Life & Work of Jacque Fresco.” The video presents snippets from Jacque’s life, events, and appearances throughout his productive and active life. A Resource Based Economy, as proposed by Jacque, inspires us towards a more equitable future.
The Venus Project proposes an alternative vision of what the future can be if we apply what we already know to achieve a sustainable new world civilization. It calls for a straightforward redesign of our culture in which the age-old inadequacies of war, poverty, hunger, debt, and unnecessary human suffering are avoidable and unacceptable. Anything less will result in a continuation of the same catalog of problems inherent in today’s world.
It is with great sadness to hear that Jacque Fresco has died who was one of the very few men this past century who gave positive practical ideas and solutions on how to improve this earth and peoples lives living on it. His ability to talk to anyone without judgement and gain respect by presenting his vision is a lesson for all that only when we believe, and then stand fast to our dreams and speak up and do something about it, will the present earth conditions change. Lots of people want change and improvement but few are prepared to speak out and do anything about it even in the face of opposition. I am in the UK but I wish all those woking on the Venus project success to carry on the vision to make it a reality. We have lost a great man, great mind and visionary, but one thing he has left behind is, knowledge, hope and inspiration to so many.

Com certeza o maior homem que já pisou nas terras deste planeta… Se Jesus realmente voltasse 2 mil anos depois, heis que foi Jacque. Fresco é o maior homem que já existiu porque ele realmente solucionou os problemas, suas ideias são superiores a todas as que já conheci. Enquanto todos os mestres que vieram antes dele indicavam o caminho, Jacque Fresco construiu o caminho! Não tem como não ser tocado por sua magnitude e não se transformar por completo, não há como não derramar lágrimas em pensar que ele já não está mais entre nós. Um sonho que sempre quis realizar foi poder abraçar este homem um dia, enfim… Depois que absorvi o conhecimento de Jacque e passei aplicá-lo, não há ser humano que não me admira, sou vislumbrado por todos a minha volta, todos me veem como alguém diferenciado, mas não é nada mais que o polir, pois a luz mesmo é deste homem que reflete em mim. O meu sol se apagou, mas tenha certeza Jacque que vou fazer o possível e o impossível para tentar ver o mundo que você sempre quis ver. Não há como não amar alguém como você… Este mundo não vai cair na escuridão, pois sua luz é como fogo e ela acendeu em mim e em tantos outros espalhados pelo mundo. Assim como a ciência diz que basta um pra provar-se verdadeiro, na ciência não interessa a opinião de milhares, aquele que tem a resposta, que seja apenas um, tem se o veredito – o fato. Fresco para mudar o mundo também é assim, vamos encontrar um dos poderosos que também vai se irradiar da sua sabedoria, e em pouquíssimo tempo teremos a maravilha de Vênus na Terra.

Rest in Peace Jacques, your legacy will live on. The work the Venus project is doing is both important and world changing. Jacques and the team have seeded the ideas of change which is a powerful force brewing amongst us all.

Sad to hear of Jacques passing. He was a man with great foresight and hopefully his dream will enable all to live in a society free from war, famine and hate.
Words cannot express the feeling of loss that I am experiencing right now. I never had the chance to meet Jacques, but his love, his light, and his energy lives on in those who share his vision. Too seldom does the world receive people like Jacques, and his presence on this earth will be sorely missed.

I was saddened to hear of Jacques’ passing. His work was something I stumbled upon one night as I was developing my own ideas on true sustainability for mankind. I watched his videos with great interest and both he and Roxanne’s work have certainly impacted my life.

It is SO SO frustrating how folk can b so judgemental and dismissive of this man, I myself can’t even find the words to express what I think of him and his work, and of course his passing. The world feels colder now that Jacque left us. I admired his wisdom, his clear vision, ideas, – a true genius. I watched his videos over and over again, told everyone I knew about the alternative.
There’s still so much work to do in this world and I hope with all my heart that more and more people will see the need to break the corrupted system.

What a great man who has dedicated his life to creating a better society, a better world, a more refined manner of existence for man kind with solutions. A great loss however may his goal live on and receive more funding to get this project off the ground and in reality !

Jacque Fresco was a man on a mission transported to earth from another place and time. His mission was to boldly go where no man has ever gone before in the twenty first century, to lay the foundations of a futuristic society where all mankind will be equal. His “feet on the ground launching platform” built upon science and technology, fuelled by his enormous enthusiasm and dedication, will hopefully one day propel us far beyond the “hijacked prison planet” and the outer limits of the solar system, to new worlds and civilisations. There we should find fertile galaxies filled with billions of unpretentious “Stars”. In there we might discover where the brightest Star on Earth came from.

I like many others wanted to meet and talk with Jacque but I never could.
But at least we have his best friend and partner that knew him better than anyone.
We should all try to do what we can to promote and achieve Jacque’s vision.
I do this on twitter and I spend a little bit of my income to try and win lotto. lol. I know it’s a long shot but imagine if some of us did win 20 or 40 million dollars how much we could help.
