If engineers, builders or mechanics operated with an average person’s style of communication, then inventions, buildings and machines would be impossible to construct. When a surgeon asks for a scalpel, he/she does not receive a pair of scissors. In these professions, language is very precise, exact. To be able to effectively communicate, one needs to agree on common terms.
