The Best That Money Can’t Buy (Book)

This new 9th soft cover edition includes 150 color photos (65 more than previous editions) with additional captions.

Jacque Fresco envisions a global civilization in which science and technology are applied with human and environmental concern to secure, protect, and encourage a more humane world for all people. This book, originally published in 2002, offers a possible way out of our recurring cycles of boom and recession, famine, poverty, a declining environment, and territorial conflicts where peace is merely the interval between wars. It outlines an attainable, humane social design of the near future where human rights are no longer paper proclamations but a way of life. The Best That Money Can’t Buy is a challenge to all people to work towards a society in which all of the world’s resources become the common heritage of all of the Earth’s people. It is accompanied by 150 color photos of Fresco’s original designs, which illuminate the fulfilling lifestyle of a Global Resource Based Economy. This latest edition is 224 pages, size 6” X 9”, published in January 2018.

Best book I’ve ever read. This is the best solutions to our problems now a days.

Jacque Fresco thank you! You changed the way I think about people. This is what John Lennons song “Imagine”must be about :)

  3. Helio Cardoso

So far this is the most complete solution I have heard of which also incorporates a new social change. We must try these ideas on a global scale if we are to improve life on Earth. A must read book!

Quite probably the most important book ever written. It contains knowledge that it took over 70 years its author to compile. And for people complaining that it’s not free, they need to know that Fresco sold a house to pay printing of this book. Of course that it’s not free, because we don’t live in Resource based economy yet. We still live in monetary system, and in monetary system if you don’t want your electricity cut off, you need to work with money. Thank you Jacque Fresco for destroying my worldview and for waking me up. Thank you for your enormous work in making this world a better place.

This book was the start of a new chapter in my life (no pun intended). From being able to go to to Venus and receiving The Best That Money Can’t Buy as part of the tour package and then reading it on the flight back home I was extremely motivated to speak to others about this direction and start my journey on learning more about the world around me and this direction to help humanity. Although it is highly condensed as The Venus Project is a huge direction to fit all in one book or even several, it’s a great start to learning about what it has to offer and some insight into how our current social system operates.

Perhaps the most important book ever written, IF the knowledge is absorbed by the masses. An excellent read, directly from the source and in the most complete form regarding a Resource Based Economy, an idea about a new operating system for all of humanity that has the vision and potential to enhance and change the course of human history forever.

I bought this book twice and gave it away to friends both times. The best part for me always seems to be when I get to the parts with pictures. I really hope to see a large budget motion picture.
