Trailer for New Documentary: “A World Worth Imagining”

We are pleased to introduce to you the S.O.U.L. Documentary team who came in 2017 to film for a documentary that they produced. We are excited that it will be coming out by the end of 2019. Below is a message from them with an invitation to view the trailer to their exciting new documentary about The Venus Project, featuring the last interview with Jacque:

Message from the S.O.U.L. Documentary team:

When we traveled across the country to meet and interview Jacque and Roxanne, two of our personal heroes, we had no idea that we were being gifted the final interview of Jacque’s life. Knowing it had been years since the previous interview, he gave it his absolute all, despite having suffered from Parkinson’s Disease for years. Compelled by our being so moved in his presence, and as a tribute to the effort he made, we felt these interviews were worthy of being the basis for a documentary.

While you are already familiar with Jacque’s unprecedented body of work, you most likely have never heard him speak with such compassion and tenderness, as if being shared the last words of wisdom from your brilliant grandfather. And for those who see it and are just discovering Jacque, Roxanne, the Resource Based Economy, and all that can mean for our future, their hearts are sure to be warmed by the powerful message of the film as well.

“A World Worth Imagining – Jacque Fresco, The Man With The Plan”, co-starring Roxanne Meadows, also includes a multitude of animations from The Venus Project and never-before-seen footage made available by the fact that we turned the film over for editing to long-time volunteer Joel Holt, who had done editing work on other documentaries made in-house at The Venus Project.

Because you are a loyal supporter of The Venus Project, you get the exclusive first glance at the trailer for the film.

Songs from the soundtrack to the film, one of which is dedicated to Jacque, are available here.

S.O.U.L. founder, and the film’s Executive Producer, Evan Gary Hirsch has pledged a matching $25,000 grant to be raised in conjunction with the release of the film this fall. Join the S.O.U.L. 1. Excellent material. It is time to show this new direction to the world. Staying in this monetary system has no future and will keep destroying all of us and the earth. Humans, animals and the environment deserves better. It is time to activate this change.

    • Indeed, we are working on a gradual transition from today’s monetary system to one that provides access abundance to everyone. Thanks for your support, David!

  2. Excellent material. It is time to show this alternative to the world. The actual monetary system will eventually destroy everything. We have to change our way of living and thinking, which implies new knowledge and new actions.

  3. Thank you Jacques, your work has inspired me and I have been activated, your legacy will live on for generations to come, we will continue to pursue your vision and show humanity it’s true potential, we won’t relent, this is our calling, this is my calling.

  5. I don’t think the trailer looked professional.. a documentary needs to be scientific and easy to understand without the need of that kind of music, and slogans to try and make the viewers emotional.
I hope the movie itself does more then that and actually shows the truth of how little time we have to change, and that our current way is not the best/only way

  6. As I was growing up and learning in school, I felt that there was something terribly wrong with the way the rulers of the world lead. At the same time, I naturally became in-tune with nature and saw how people destroyed it. Even as a young girl, I felt immense sorrow at how this planet was being destroyed and knew that we needed to change. I questioned educators and spoke many times in depth about the problems and how to solve them. Then, I stumbled upon Jacque, Roxanne, and their work. I was inspired by what they were doing and knew I had found what I had been searching for my whole life. With a little assistance from my co-workers, we accomplished a milestone at our work site today that will begin the improvement of human rights.

Thank you for continuing throughout your lifetime to better humanity and this planet for it is those of us who fight for the survival of all who understand that we need to improve how we live in order to survive.

    • Hello! Yes! I have finally found what I’ve been searching for my whole life too, with the Venus Project and with the Zeitgeist movement.
I think there is an evolution movement in our species that are syncronizing our filings and wishes and points of view, maybe, and Jaque and Roxane are the obstetricians of this big change we might do. thank you all so much.
I wait excitedly to see this intimate film.
Cordial greetings from Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

  7. being human means just being open and ready to save all the species on this earth . this requires a high sensibility .as long as humans see other creatures as inferior there is no change . i hope to live enough and see this wonderful project applied . a science that goes hand in hand with a high consciousness this is what jacque teach us .

  8. Thank you for further illuminating the vision. I see all of us having no better option than contributing to its realization. With my very best wishes for the transcendence of humanity into a truly evolving commonality where anyone’s pain and pleasure will be of everyone’s.

  9. I’m from Bermuda . The most expensive place to live on this planet based on per capita living (approx 63,000 people) on a 21 sq. mile island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, surrounded by the beautiful waters of the Atlantic. A place that that often ‘punches above its weight’ on a global playing field. However we can only compete for so long. the cost of living has outstripped what we are struggling to maintain. A place where everything is shipped in including food although we are capable of growing enough crops here on island to feed it self but the simplicity of ‘bring it in’ by plane and or container ship is a norm that is hard to break. With limited resources to capital funds we have found ourselves borrowing beyond what we can pay back. Many have left the island simply because its too expensive to live here and have uprooted their families to live elsewhere. The Venus Project lends its self to be a perfect example of what smaller islands like Bermuda and even similar islands in the Caribbean should do. The VENUS PROJECT is truly meant for island style living. Our ancestors before us HAD to live on island in a sustainable way. We need to return back to this mindset but in a modern way. I’m all in for The VENUS PROJECT BERMUDA
